What if this were you...

A woman had a dream one day. She dreamed of her own fashion line. She could see the logo on t-shirts, hoodies, sneakers, leggings and all types of sportswear for women. Her heart leaped within her. She believed that with a portion of the proceeds, she could help many more orphans and widows like the ones she was already helping. She could buy beds and linens, curtains and furniture. She could paint the buildings they called "home.". Her heart was big and her faith gargantuan. So she set off to the local merchant to order the first round of t-shirts. All the money she had set aside, she laid it in his capable hands with great expectations. With great expectations, she walked away and then the unthinkable happened. 

The merchant walked away, in the opposite direction. He simply disappeared. He could not be reached by phone. Whenever she went to his office, she was told he is not here. One by one, many others like her filed into the office , only to be sent away with the same message. He is not here. He is gone. No merchandise here. Broken dreams, shattered expectations, hope nearly gone.  But God...

But God is a repairer of the breach and a way-maker out of no way. He gives beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. The dream lives on. This one person decided to go for it, despite her disappointment. She decided to believe God and prayed that he would restore all that was lost to her before the end of the year. 

Then God tapped me on the shoulder and said, "I want you to make a mock up for her t-shirt brand and surprise her". I did not know at the time what had happened to her dream. One week later (because I was so caught up with my own stuff) I heard this story and the dream was reborn. 
God will use anyone who is yielded to get his will into the earth. What if this were you?... 

REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS!

Today she is rejoicing in God and again has great expectations for the brand and for the people she will be able to serve with a portion of the proceeds.
